Get started!Requisition SummaryPACCAR Financial has an exciting Business Systems and Data Management summer internship opening at our PACCAR Financial Division Office in Bellevue, WA. The selected candidate will work directly with industry professionals, gaining exposure and experience in multiple departmental projects.

• Develop mentoring relationships with industry leaders
• Gain valuable hands on experienceThis internship is targeted to start between mid-May/June 2025.Job Functions / Responsibilities
• Support business systems and data management initiatives under the guidance of the Business Systems and Data Manager
• Utilize Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau to manage and enhance data sources and data models, focusing on improving the semantic layer
• Enhance and maintain the data dictionary and a list of reports with descriptions and objectives
• Assist in integrating Salesforce into business operations to create meaningful dashboards, involving recommendations from our Used Truck Centers
• Utilize Snowflake and a proprietary asset finance system to support and optimize data storage and analytics needs
• Support data integrity, data democratization initiatives, data privacy, and manage user data permissions to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
• Departmental reporting and data analysis for business systems initiatives
• Gather and analyze data to prepare comprehensive reports and visualizations. Key metrics include data quality, system performance, and user engagement
• Work with internal stakeholders to identify reporting needs and develop proof-of-concepts
• Develop and present implementation plans to management
• Track and measure the effectiveness of implemented reporting and data management practicesSkills / Competencies
• Ideal candidate is seeking a career in Business Systems, Data Management, and Analytics
• Relevant coursework or prior internship experience desired
• Strong Tableau, Salesforce, and Data Engineering skills
• Strong Business Intelligence skills, including experience with data analysis and reporting tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational, project management skills, and ability to handle multiple priorities
• Experience with managing and querying databases using tools such as Snowflake or other database management system
• Experience with SQL, Python, Tableau Prep/Alteryx is a plusEducation
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program or graduate MBA program
