qualified PCU RN in Olympia, Washington, 98506 About The Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Step Down Job Duration:
13-week contract (options for 13 or 26 weeks) Shift: Night
3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30), with options for 3 or 4x12-Hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years
required License: Valid WA RN or Compact RN Certifications: BCLS
and ACLS required, NIH preferred Must-Have: Experience with EPIC
charting Job Description: - Work in the Clinical Decisions
"Observation" Unit (CDU), providing care for patients requiring
observation, general medical care, and post-op recovery. - Handle
diverse patient cases, including post-op PCI, GI bleed, SBO, ESRD,
CHF, COPD, and more. - Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5 during the
day and 1:6 at night. - Participate in weekend coverage every other
weekend. - Float between various like units based on skill set,
with potential to work within the hospital or nearby sister
hospitals. - Complete 40 hours of orientation; additional
non-billable module training as required. - Comply with vaccine
requirements, with allowed exemptions. Note: Local candidates
within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for a travel
contract. Minimum of 2 supervisory references required, covering at
least one year of employment within the last three years in a
