Director Rehabilitation Services - Seattle, WashingtonReqID: 321620Job Category: RehabilitationSchedule: Full timeWork Location: Mount St Vincent-SeattleShift: DayDescriptionTHE ROLEThe Rehabilitation Services Director is responsible for overall program development and daily management of the facility Rehabilitation programs and supervision of all therapy staff and may also directly or indirectly manage MDS Nurse Coordinators. This responsibility includes maintaining budgets, managing staffing levels, achieving favorable payment reimbursement scores, optimizing therapy productivity, and overseeing quality of services for the respective programs and affiliated program staff. The Rehabilitation Services Director will be responsible for developing and leading the strategic objectives of the Department in collaboration with the Administrator, Home and Community Care Leadership, and other department heads as appropriate.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Program Services: Responsible for all operations of the Rehab department, including the direct oversight of the program, supervision of the therapy team, and ensuring compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, and requirements.
• Budget: Develops and ensures department goals, objectives, productivity, and revenue projections for assigned areas are met. Oversees utilization review for Medicare's Patient-Driven Payment Model (PDPM) and ensures optimization of reimbursement.
• Quality: Ensures all staff members are meeting performance standards and ensures the quality of the therapy programs. Takes leadership in Quality Assurance programs supporting data analysis and presentation of Quality Measure (QM) reports.
• Other: Provides leadership and direction to program staff to ensure strategic goals are developed and attained for the individual and the department as a whole. Facilitates and attends staff meetings, in-service meetings, and participates in agency committees or task force activities.QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or Speech Therapy.
• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or Speech Therapy; or Ph.D. in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or Speech Therapy (preferred).
• 3 years of experience working in long-term or sub-acute care.
• 2 years of supervisory and/or management experience in long-term care or sub-acute rehabilitation (preferred).
• Ability to communicate in English effectively both verbally and in writing.
