Summary
The Regulatory Compliance Manager plays an essential role in ensuring that an organization adheres to regulatory standards, contractual requirements, and in-house processes, procedures, and policies. This position works cross-functionally with all areas including Sales & Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Program Management, Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Human Resources to ensure compliance in meeting company and legal requirements. This includes identifying, assessing, and assisting in risk management, analyzing contractual terms and conditions, advising management of contractual rights and obligations, facilitating training at all levels on compliance standards, regulations and best practices to ensure organization-wide understanding and adherence. This individual also maintains records and approvals relating to government and commercial communication, government and commercial contract and pricing negotiations, and related contract compliance. The Regulatory Compliance Manager is also responsible for specialized compliance efforts for the company as they relate to complex analytic regulatory requirements and programs. Conducts detailed analysis of existing/proposed regulations and industry practices and develops & implements processes to meet these requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Administers processes for efficiently managing routine agreements, such as non- disclosure agreements and supply
  • Assists in the evaluation the company's contractual risk in terms of cost exposure (e.g. compensation of damages/costs associated with performance); helps establish review processes to mitigate risk during contract performance. In coordination with Program Management and Contract Managers handles contractual change control process. Ensures an effective flow-down of contract requirements, working in collaboration with Contract Managers, division supply chain and quality functions.
  • Investigates and resolves compliance problems and helps respond to questions from internal or customer sources and government regulatory agencies. May draft or prepare responses.
  • Analyzes problem/opportunity areas, structures data-gathering and evaluation of internal processes, and coordinates responses.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of programs to increase cross-functional knowledge and awareness of regulatory requirements, contracting requirements, and policies as
  • Analyzes new law, regulation and contract trends for potential impact on company or department goals and objectives related to contract activity. Updates procedures, processes, policies, and templates to comply with evolving trends.
  • Works with Program Management and Contract Managers to develop and send contracts letters on active programs, as
  • Coordinates with VP of Program Management to ensure contracted efforts progress on schedule and within contracted scope of work across all Greenpoint
  • Assists in the development and implementation of government and commercial contract management compliance divisional policies in coordination with the Director and monitors ongoing compliance.

  • Participates and/or leads negotiations for new contracts, change management, and manages conflict resolution for internal and external

      Summary of Education, Experience & Certification
      Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience and a minimum of 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Juris Doctor (J.D.) preferred. Aerospace background and aircraft interior industry experience a plus.
      Employees working on programs subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations must qualify as a US Person which is defined as a US Citizen, a Permanent Resident who does not work for a foreign company/foreign government/foreign governmental agency or organization, or a political asylee for legal compliance purposes.

        The expected WA salary range for this position is between $120,384.00 - $165,528.00. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, location, and other factors permitted by law.
