**House Manager - Residential Care**

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a House Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of residential care services, ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

**Job Description:**

As a House Manager, you will be responsible for:

* Overseeing the day-to-day operations of residential care services, including training staff, ensuring client needs are met, and maintaining quality home environments.
* Ensuring regulatory compliance with policies and procedures, state requirements, and Sails Washington expectations.
* Maintaining regular communication with conservators, outside agency representatives, and staff.
* Managing staffing and labor hours to provide the highest quality care and support to clients.
* Training and mentoring direct support professional staff.
* Ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of clients, including providing medical and dental care, and responding to emergencies.
* Maintaining accurate records and reports, including client files, incident reports, and medication administration records.
* Collaborating with other departments, including compliance, behavior, and human resources, to ensure client care needs are met.
* Participating in on-call rotations to respond to emergencies and provide support to clients and staff.

**Requirements:**

* Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
* Ability to speak effectively with clients, staff, and outside agency representatives.
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to conduct instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
* Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
* Ability to pass a Washington State background check and maintain active NAR certification.
* Ability to complete 75 CORE Basic Training, Nurse Delegation, CPR/First Aid, and other state or agency required training or licensing.

**Work Environment:**

This position is in the field, working with clients and staff in residential care settings. The work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
